The shisha bar is just rubbish. The service was poor and the employees simply didn't feel like working. Our orders were taken quickly at the beginning, but by the time we got our shisha we had been forgotten. Coal wasn't changed and the shisha just tasted bad. What was even worse was the volume of the music. It was so loud that it was hard to have a conversation or relax. It felt like we were at a loud fair instead of sitting in a relaxed shisha bar. Overall, I cannot recommend this shisha bar. The poor service, bad tasting shishas and loud music all contributed to making us feel uncomfortable and unsatisfied.

All in all, not recommended. Employees didn't even say hello, you didn't feel welcome, only the toilets were clean

This place has it all - excellent service, an authentic owner, very nice waitresses. I was there on December 27th, 2018 and could do nothing but thank the waitress for a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The renovation of GLOW has paid off - I would like to say that it is the best shisha bar in Essen, perhaps even in Germany. The only downside is that the music is sometimes too loud, especially on weekends. I will always recommend this bar - and even if I can't come often, I still enjoy coming.
